Cavanagh Sorich Law Group partner Tim Cavanagh spoke to WGN Investigates nine months after Rylan Wilder, 15, was shot by a suburban police officer who chased a bank robbery suspect into Chicago. Rylan, a gifted musician, was shot in his arm and abdomen and required 14 surgeries.
“The wound from Rylan’s arm, the bullet that went through his arm into his abdomen, inflected damage commensurate with a war victim,” said Cavanagh, who filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Wilder family.
