Cavanagh Sorich Law Group filed a lawsuit against Metra and Union Pacific Railroad on behalf of a woman who was critically injured at an Illinois railroad crossing.
Her car was struck by a ballast regulator, or large railroad vehicle, and pushed 150 feet. The victim had the right of way as the gates were in the up position and the crossing lights were off.
