On October 25, 2017, Tim Cavanagh and Matthew Rundio secured a $1.5 million settlement on behalf of George Grozdev against Antonio Martinez, et. al., arising from an injury suffered due to negligence.
On May 18, 2015, George Grozdev was working as a self-employed truck driver contracted with Central States Trucking Co. Grozdev was standing in front of a forklift when he was struck by an unsecured 2 x 4, which caused severe injury to his right leg. Central States Trucking Co.’s negligent training of Antonio Martinez caused Mr. Grozdev’s injuries.
Mr. Grozdev had two surgeries to repair the damage and is still affected by his injury today.
