FOX 32 CHICAGO: Family Gets Settlement From 2003 Metra Derailment

Passengers on a Metra train were injured when the train derailed in a railroad maintenance yard due to the train’s engineer missing a red stop light. Two locomotives and five passenger cars derailed at a speed of 68 mph, resulting in one plaintiff suffering knee and lower back injuries. Tim Cavanagh obtained the settlement after a week of trial.
