CHICAGO SUN-TIMES: City Council Signs Off on $20M Settlement to Frugoli’s Drunk-Driving Victims

Cavanagh Sorich Law Group fought the city of Chicago and won in the “code of silence” case. Detective Joseph Frugoli’s notorious past of drunken misconduct and driving under the influence, leading to the death of two young men, was argued to be allowed thanks to the police “code of silence,” which assured a lack of consequences. This finally came to a halt as the city of Chicago attorneys settled the lawsuit in the midst of closing arguments.
