Cavanagh Sorich Law Group this week released surveillance footage of the November 2019 police shooting that seriously injured Rylan Wilder, a gifted 15-year-old musician. The firm filed a lawsuit after Rylan was shot by a Des Plaines police officer chasing a suspect in Chicago.
“Rylan was given a gift,” Cavanagh Sorich Law Group partner Tim Cavanagh said. “To have that ripped away where he’s had nothing to do with this — he didn’t do anything wrong, no fault of his own — it’s just heartbreaking.”
