A woman is suing the driver who rear-ended the vehicle carrying her and her parents last month on I-290 near west suburban Elmhurst, leaving both her parents dead.
“If the driver had been paying attention and obeying the traffic laws, this family would be together today,” Muff’s attorney, Timothy Cavanagh, said in a statement. “They were heading to a family graduation party at the time. A happy event turned into a horrible tragedy because of the driver’s negligence.”
