Insko v. Rigid Construction, Inc.

Cavanagh Sorich Law Group on January 8, 2020, obtained a $1.2 million settlement for a man who was injured when he fell through a first-floor hole into a basement at a construction site in Park Ridge, Ill., on June 14, 2017.

Rigid Construction, Inc., was performing demolition work at the site at the time and failed to properly cover the hole or notify people on site about the potential danger, a lawsuit filed by Cavanagh Sorich Law Group in the Circuit Court of Cook County alleged.

The Hon. Judge Christopher Edward Lawler of the Circuit Court of Cook County presided in the case of Dustin and Jonelle Insko vs. Midland General Construction and Rigid Construction, Inc., Case No. 2017-L-007252.
