CHICAGO — Cavanagh Sorich Law Group founding partner Tim Cavanagh has been named the Best Lawyers® 2022 Personal Injury Litigation — Plaintiffs “Lawyer of the Year” in Chicago.
Attorneys recognized by the publication are selected entirely by their peers through a rigorous review process.
The lawyers with the highest overall peer feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region receive the additional designation of “Lawyer of the Year.” Only one attorney is chosen per location and specialty.
Cavanagh was peer-selected in the field of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs in Chicago.
He was also chosen by his peers for inclusion in the 2022 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs. He has been named to the list every year since 2015.

Recent settlements include $6 million for a man who sustained a brain injury after nearly drowning in a supervised pool; $3 million for a pedestrian whose leg needed to be amputated after he was struck by a CTA bus; and $2.1 million for a truck driver who was injured in a low-impact collision in Chicago.
